KINGMAN - Norval (Cricket) Curtis, age 67, of Kingman Rt. 2, died at his home at 3:05 p.m. Wednesday, April 30. He was a retired section foreman on the Nickle Plate Railroad. Mr. Curtis was born Jan. 29, 1902, in Humrick, Ill., the son of Oscar and Alice Hayworth Curtis. He was married to Daisy Melton, who survives. Surviving, in addition to the wife, are: two sons, Luther Melton of Kingman Rt. and Dean Curtis of Covington; three daughters, Mrs. Beverly Jones of Dana, Mrs. Genevieve Clingan of Kingman and Mrs. Barbara Coffing of Covington; one brother, Ben Curtis of Indianapolis; one half-brother, Arthur Molar of Mooresville; two step-sisters, Mrs. Myrtle Barker of Greencastle and Mrs. Hazel Boswell of Danville, Ind., and 18 grandchildren. Funeral services were held at the Watson Funeral Home in Cayuga at 2 p.m. Friday. The Rev. John Hoslar officiated. Burial was in the Silver Island Cemetery. - jlr
